I am planning on going to the US to visit family in early 2020 (January-February). All my family there lives in California. I will probably visit LA zoo, San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, Sea World San Diego and The Living Desert.
I would like to ask you guys if there are other zoos in Southern California that are worth a visit? Would love to go up north as well (Monterrey - such an awesome aquarium from what I remember), not sure if there are any other zoos worth a visit there. San Francisco Zoo was fine.
Then what are great zoos in the US that are still worth a visit in winter ? I was considering stoping by Dallas on my way back to Europe, maybe Tampa or Miami as well? Maybe New York, even though the weather will be rough.
