Zoo people,
I'm currently putting together a list of Zoos in the UK with Beavers - Zoos with Eurasian beavers(C. fiber) are the main focus, but it would also be good to know the status of their North American (C. canadensis) cousins. Below is what I have managed to discover so far:
There are currently two collections with Eurasian - Wildwood, and one other.
Then two with North American - Drusillas Park and All things Wild.
Holders that seem to have "recently" gone out of Beavers include:
-HWP
-Borth Animal Kingdom
-WWT Slimbridge
-Curraghs Wildlife Park
EDIT: Beaver Water World - sent theirs to All Things Wild.
If anyone could help to identify any other current or "recently" previous holders (public or private), then that would be a real help! Bonus points if you're able to share any exhibit photos that aren't currently on the gallery.
Many thanks,
TNT
