You could easily combine it on a day with either Duisburg or Wuppertal, as it needs only 2 hours to properly see. It is well worth seeing though, nothing spectacular, but a good collection in mostly adequate and attractive enclosures (with the star species getting the short end of the stick).

Frankfurt it is. I don't know about the Echidna. There were only Tawny Frogmouth in their enclosure, the Echidna were both still on-show a few months ago and very active.

Seems I managed to forget one! It was in an exhibit together with meerkats, which was a weird sight.
