The aquarium in the Mall of America, Underwater Adventures, has been sold to an unknown seller, who will be announced at a later date.

Merlin Entertainment, the well-known parent company of many SeaLife Aquariums all over the world, is the new owner of Underwater Adventures and they will investment $5 million into the aquarium for improvements.

Wow, they already have an aquarium, attached to LegoLand in California, here in the USA. I'll be touring LegoLand's SeaLife next month.
