Apparently the zoo has held Purple-tailed imperial pigeons since 2015, though I hadn't seen any until August. Just received the fall 2019 magazine. Here are the updates
1. Several Annulated boas born in July
2. New Madagascar giant day gecko
3. Nine new Lined seahorses
4. New Zebu
5. Three Red pandas born in June
6. New- a pair of Sailfin lizards
7. New Screech owl
8. New Cassowary
9. Screamer born in August
10. New Ringtail

1.5-year-old orangutan Sofie has come down with an infection.

Just visited. There is a new plant exhibit in the World of Reptiles. 2 Frilled dragons born Dec 6 and a new armadillo in the Titi exhibit. Also Spotted turtles.

Forgot to mention that there are Laughing kookaburras with the guineafowls.

The Zoo welcomed its first-ever Malayan tapir birth! As he was born on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, he was named Luther.

I've waited about 8 years for this zoo to have a Malayan tapir calf. I am beyond thrilled!

The zoo welcomed an Eclectus parrot named Zeke, and he will be used as an animal ambassador.

Radiated tortoise laid eggs.
Mammal/plants exhibits at the end of World of Reptiles were closed yesterday.
