Leopard and Goat Farm Private Collection in Cornwall

I've given this some thought and basically I'm not prepared to donate £50 to a collection I would never normally be able to visit. I'd rather give money to Exmoor, Hamerton.....

I am of exactly the same opinion. I don't have an endless supply of cash myself but what I am able to spare will go towards supporting collections who actively want to engage with me under 'normal' circumstances. There are plenty of them.

Personally, I'm choosing to support one or two zoos per month... this just about equates to how much I'd spend visiting them in "non-corona" times. Whilst I don't usually have to pay when visiting zoos (for various reasons), I will always buy food, and something in the gift shop. Last month I donated to Axe Valley Wildlife Park and Lakeland Wildlife Oasis... I've yet to decide what collections I'll support this month, and will probably do so later in the week. Like you, I prefer to donate to collections that I've had plenty of engagement with in the past, or that are active on their social medias, keeping everyone updated about the current situation. That's not saying I'm against donating to private collections such as this, as I will likely donate in the future... but for now, my priorities sit with collections I've somewhat described above.

*Edit - now that the RSCC facebook page has become active, it's definitely a step in the right direction to gaining more support. It's great to see the new developments*

That seems like a good approach. We were supposed to be away in Cornwall for the Easter weekend - accomodation would have been free but I intend to take any money we would have spent on meals out and suchlike and share that between a few collections. Interesting that you have mentioned social media as I've just made a post about how important that must be at this time.

There's a honey badger on their Instagram now!

I've just been trying to email about availability for 2021 Open Days as I live in the local area and I'm very keen to have a look around. However the email address given on the contact page of their website (info@leopardandgoat.farm) doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have another contact?

It is worth mentioning that despite the fact the webpage for the collection says that open days will be announced "soon", the page in question has said this for about three years now :P

Fantastic. So should be any day now then! Lolz. I'll try not to get my hopes up too much. But I think it has to be worth asking. Nothing ventured nothing gained and all that!
