As for the question, I shall have to ponder on that.
Chimpanzees - Leipzig
Orangutan - Hamburg
Bonobo - Frankfurt
Gorilla - Frankfurt/Leipzig
For gorillas, outdoor enclosure in Duisburg is the best (mostly because of tree shade and lots of bushy vegetation for these agoraphobic apes) but for apes indoor exhibits are more important than outdoor. Some good exhibits, like Stuttgart for bonobos or Rostock, are ruined by hard surface indoors or too little climbing and manipulable structures.
