Interesting list, but I thing it needs to be noted that Chester is much better than London now. For me, I would have Beauval and Chester in the top 10 along with Pairi.

So my list would be something like this:

Prague
Pairi
Beauval
Chester
Vienna

Berlin
Rotterdam
Zurich
Leipzig
Burgers'

I'd visited Leipzig prior to writing that list, and have never visited Zurich, but my visit to Prague was indeed subsequent to that list.

Of course, the question of favourite as opposed to best is a tricky one, as I discussed above.
 
It was difficult to list my favourite twenty five European zoos but I eventually decided on the list below.
