They'll try to give you credit. Keep that in mind when they're selling prints of your work and using it on billboards ;)

Haha maybe they will indeed but it would be really cool to see my photo on a huge billboard and luckily I wouldn’t pay for it :eek: I truly do just like sharing my photos but I can see that some people would want to protect their IP and make any income off it for themselves just any professional or enthusiast photographer. Maybe I’m just a sucker :oops:

I just like taking and sharing photos, too, but I'm not comfortable with people using my work to make them money that I don't see a cent of. It also hurts the people who do try to make a living off of photography.
At least this contest requires you be the actual photographer.

I see what you mean and it could do more harm than good :/ I won’t post anything else in their contest just in case to be on the safe side!

It's completely up to you! Please, don't let me stop you if you enjoy it :) I just didn't want anyone to get a surprise in the future

FYI - this is a side effect of a change I made recently to fix an error with some permissions.

Specifically, it affects people who are not premium members, which is why @Julio C Castro and @Arizona Docent can still upload the photos.

I'll investigate to see whether I can adjust some settings here - I will report back.
