Evening visits sound very nice! I have done one at Whipsnade before but I'd love to do one at Chester!
Wandering back to the staff entrance in fading light while listening to the lion roaring takes some beating.

The experience does depend on the type of visitor you’re trying to attract though-London Zoo I’m looking at you!
A members-only evening should attract a good type of visitor, though.
Welsh zoos aren't
Unfortunately, Scottish and Welsh zoos are not yet allowed to open. Secondly, not all zoos are re-opening. Many can't. The 'chit-chat' is important discussion to secure the future of many exceptional zoological collections.Zoos are re-opening, so why is this debate (chit chat) still happening?
Welsh zoos aren't
So an Edinburgh MP points out that Scottish zoos are not being reopened which is a surprise to a Dudley conservtive MP; can the UK government force Scotland and Wales to open their zoos, or can this 'debate' even influence them?Nor Scottish presumably?
no it isn't; this is the Chester thread....because the title of the thread is linked to UK zoos.
Apologies R Panda.. My mistake. I will edit accordingly! Sorry again.no it isn't; this is the Chester thread![]()

Don't worry ZSL was the same!!The member's login was broken all day today so I couldn't book, assuming it will be ready tomorrow?
Once the website was up, I had no problem booking for Chester. On the other hand, Whipsnade's only worked for a couple of members all day, and now it's completely unavailable.Don't worry ZSL was the same!!
