Orangutan attacks keeper at the zoo:
Dasa the orangutan attacked her 29 years old male keeper on June 6th. It is unknown why she attacked him and he has no life-threatening injuries.
Animal Attack at the Erie Zoo
Nothing currently related to news but on World's Parrot Day FB post, they mentioned Denni the Red and Blue Macaw was suffering from feather loss. The animal care staff is monitoring her and they say she is doing fine.

Erie Zoo welcomes 2 red panda cubs, now 4 weeks old
Erie Zoo red pandas Pumori, 5, and Delilah, 7, are the parents. Delilah arrived at the Erie Zoo in November upon recommendation from the Red Panda Species Survival Plan, according to Erie Zoological Society President Scott Mitchell.
Pumori has been with the Erie Zoo since 2016 and is ranked the No. 2 most genetically valuable male in the country for his species, zoo officials said.
