Zoo Barcelona Zoològic de Barcelona News

Sorry, just to point something out, Barca means a boat, Barça is a football team, Barcelona is the city.
Fine for scoring points and semantics. But a bit unnecessary if you do not respond to content and substance, do not you think?

But why not just answer the question posed in the first place whether the Barcelona Municipality had a hand in this transfer or shoving off?
(You will full know what I am talking about here and certainly all Spanish forumsters will)

It’s nothing personal and I’m not interested in scoring points but it’s a term you have used repeatedly and I felt it worth noting.

I won’t answer the question posed in the first place because I don’t know the answer.

Why so snappy? I can't see anything in Shirokuma's post that justifies your reaction.

Barcelona Zoo is co-operating in a breeding programm for the treathened Spanish toothcarp ( Aphanius iberus ).
Now some re-introduction has taken place :) :

A neat native conservation breeding program! This first release in L'Obregat is a good start.
Obviously, at some point the case of invasive Gambusias needs to be addressed too.

Every zoo globally should have at least 4-5 of those for local species too!

You are so true @Kifaru Bwana ! For loads of threatened smaller species ( invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptilians, birds and small mammals ) a single zoo already can reach a great deal and zoos will honor their name as being Arcs of Noah !

Wonder if anyone could help me out and tell me who's currently in the two gorilla groups.

Thankyou in advance.
