A while back back a thread was made discussing the best exhibits devoted to a specific geographical areas. I thought it was a great idea, and so I've decided to make a similar thread but slightly different:

What is the best exhibit that represents a habitat or biome in your opinion?

1. Taiga/deciduous forest
2. Savannah/prairie/grasslands
3. Mountains
4. Desert
5. Rainforests
6. Wetlands, swamps, mangroves, etc.
7. Coastal environments and inshore waters
8. Open sea

I haven't been to many zoos, but I have been to Henry Doorly, and that is the best desert-based exhibit I have seen. Monterey Bay Aquarium's Open Sea tank and Georgia's Ocean Voyager are good open ocean tanks as well.

I've heard Burgers' is pretty good too, so I wouldn't be surprised if that shows up a bit here.

Henry Doorly has really great desert and rainforest exhibits. However I really haven't seen that many exhibits that fully encompass a single habitat besides those two.

Those exhibits are easily surpassed in Europe.

The Bush in Burgers' Zoo and Masoala would easily be the best rainforest exhibits if you look at how well they replicate that habitat.

The Desert in Burgers' Zoo would also trump Omaha.

For 6 I think there is little competition for Burgers Mangrove as far as I am aware.
