What is your ranking of the MCU movies? (from least favorite to most favorite)

Something someone pointed out which makes may shed some light:

The wine bottle Wanda pours in the trailer is titled "MAISON DU MEPRIS". 'Maison du' is French for 'House of' and while Mepris is a made up word it seems, it does begin with M. This is likely a nod to the House of M storyline from the comics, which IIRC, includes the exact storyline I predicted above! The comic line goes into a lot more complex and crazy stuff, including she Thanos-ing most (all?) existing mutants, but I doubt we'll get all of that in the show for obvious reasons.

The word you don't recognise is French for "scorn" or "contempt".

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!

Doctor Strange is an odd pick for number one. May I ask your reasoning?

And what is Hulk 2004?

I assume they meant The Incredible Hulk which was in 2008, not 2004. However, they was a 2003 Hulk movie (non-MCU) which looked like this:

Still better than Black Panther. :p
I've seen the 2003 Hulk, it's not good in any way. I would say every MCU movie except for GOTG is better than the 2003 Hulk.

@ThylacineAlive I'm surprised you didn't the worst frame of the movie:

That's not true, I can think of a lot more than 3.
I get Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, Thor, Spiderman, The Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Vision, all the main characters in GOTG2 appeared to have become super-powered ... it's probably easier to list the characters which don't have super powers!

And Quicksilver.

Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, War Machine, Falcon, Antman & the Wasp, uhhhh maybe Groot? I'm not sure if Groot and Drax are actually superpowered or if that's just their species' normal abilities. Mantis doesn't have powers for a member of her species. Not sure if there are others off the top of my head.

I think he wasn't counting characters who's powers come from their suits, so Iron Man, Falcon, War Machine, Ant-Man, and The Wasp wouldn't count. And isn't Hawkeye just a guy with a bow?

But Dr. Strange (and the other wizards), Captain Marvel, Thor (and all his friends), Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Vision, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, The Hulk, Quicksilver, and all the Guardians (except for maybe Peter Quill) surely all count as having powers? Does Loki count as an Avenger at this point? If he does, him too.

Black Widow
In the comics she's taken a version of the Super Soldier serum that Cap had, and also in the comics she's the same age as Cap, i.e. born in the 1920s.

Again he's superpowered in the comics, with heightened strength and durability.

Not sure if the MCU equivalents have the same powers, but they're definitely tougher than average in the source material.

We'll probably get the Black Widow question answered in November.

He was listing characters without super-powers, as per my post to which he was replying.

I wouldn't count Captain America as having super-powers - he is really strong and all, but otherwise is just a chemically-enhanced regular human. Black Widow, at least as portrayed in the movies, definitely doesn't count - she is just a girl with a gun with zero abilities beyond any trained human. Same as Black Panther - he has a vibranium suit, big deal.

My understanding of all the GOTG characters is that they are just ordinary for their species (including Groot and Drax). In the sequel, however, they somehow had all became invulnerable to destruction - even the human one (although I guess if Quill is half-god or whatever then that would explain that).

Gamora is stated in GOTG1 to have a metal skeleton and enhanced strength. Nebula is a cyborg. In the comics it is stated that Captain America can process information and calculate things much faster than a regular human - he must be doing this in the movies too, otherwise there is no way he could catch that shield every time he threw it.
