Hoenderdaell.I only konw that the second calf Geoffrey was send 2018 to an little animal park in the netherlands. He lives there with another older male. The other two George and Gus still could not find in any place.
Nice to see they've got an additional source of revenue for the next month or so... Maybe they'll keep it going after lockdown.Popped into NA today, they now have a farm shop in the car park selling local produce and coffee to take away. There is a picnic area where you can sit and they have moved the bison in with the red deer which have a paddock next to the car park. You can walk up and see the rhinos too. The elephants are also visible in the distance form the car park. I felt a bit like an alcoholic looking through a pub window but it's good to be able to get a zoo fix while shopping.
Yeah, good to see that they spent time preparing for a second lockdown, very wise of them.Nice to see they've got an additional source of revenue for the next month or so... Maybe they'll keep it going after lockdown.
That is such sad news. It was only a few weeks ago when I saw her running about in the field. I've never really understood why fireworks are still allowed given how scared lots of animals and young children are of them.Announced on social media that Hope the zebra foal born during lockdown in March has sadly died after "colliding with the fence from being spooked by fireworks". The PM has revealed the "sudden impact caused her immediate death". Devastating news and unnecessary death
But the old zoo site has such historic significance- will it ever happen I wonder?
