So, since Arkive closed down, which had a number of remarkable images and videos, are there any good websites (besides google) that have good images for lots of different animals? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the help! I will look at those for sure. Any image wesbistes that are particular to animals of all shapes and sizes and general? For ebird you got that covered, but for invertabretes like Rotifers, Bryozoans, Copepods, and mysids that I am interested in very few exist as far as I know.Startpage for images in general, Flickr, Wikimedia Commons and visualhunt for images free to reproduce.
I have seen this website, yes, I even have all of Mr. Sartores animal ark books as well. Here are pictures from the Photo Ark

As I am a person that is particularly interested in mostly invertebrates, particularly crustaceans and bryozoans, any websites that supply images for lesser-known animals would be nice.
Thats true! What about the Gallery of ZooChat - also VERY good!
Thank you!Macaulay Library is the best for birds.
Try bugguide. Keep in mind that many invertebrate have few, if any photographs taken of them. So, I tried out some of the websites suggested to me, and I'm sorry to say they weren't that helpful. I mean, they have some stuff but not anything that is particularly helpful. Anything Animal specific? I mean- I won't expect much but I just wish there was some website out there that helped me get good images of the Animals I like, mostly invertebrates.
Thank you so very much!Try bugguide. Keep in mind that many invertebrate have few, if any photographs taken of them.
Joel's website has more photos available to search, and captions are generally more accurate there (at least relative to the Nat Geo site). Here are pictures from the Photo Ark
