What zoo do you think is near perfect? Or close enough?

Possibly but while the pandemic continues, the same constraints for travel will presumably apply to Jersey regarding flights and boat travel as they do to destinations further afield.. Domestic tourism has seen a major upsurge this year certainly, but its been to places that can be reached more easily, often just for day trips when restrictions on hotel occupancy and lockdowns are in force..Going to Jersey requires similar planning and travel time as say, a trip to France.

That is such a shame, I hope things improve on that front, Jersey zoo certainly needs all the support it can get in this difficult time.

I would work in Dierenpark ZieZoo if I was from the Netherlands. I think it's near perfect due to being a collection that isn't too dependent on Genus Panthera, pachyderms, big African hoofstock and red pandas. I love the fact that it has small mammals I love such as tanuki, nutria, kangaroos. I love how it started as a hobby, a work of passion. I also have a thing for exhibits that don't try to replicate wild habitats.

The problem with ZieZoo mostly is the exhibit quality, and then I'm not talking about the lack of naturalistic looks or immersive exhibits.
