Zoological inaccuracies & mistakes

It's just as well that Samuel Taylor Coleridge didn't mention about a seagull being unlucky in 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. Various people have pointed out that there are seagulls calling in the music for 'Desert Island Discs' (
), as there wouldn't be seagulls flying over a desert island. Similarly there could be a link between seagulls and 'Goodbye Mr Chips'.

Uuhh...
I have found a lot of these types of mistakes in national geographic books and magazines. Sometimes its just small things like the Wrong species of Ferret badger inserted for A Chinese ferret badger photograph. But other times its like-this, and I think African forest elephants were shown with a photograph of an African Savannah elephant once. Could be wrong though.
