Very sad news. I hope Batu recovers.This article, (Syracuse’s Rosamond Gifford Zoo announces death of baby elephant),
states that Ajay’s five year old brother, Batu, has tested positive as well.
Rosamond Gifford Zoo Director Ted Fox said Ajay’s older brother, 5-year-old Batu, tested positive for EEHV on Thursday and the zoo began aggressively treating him even though he had no symptoms. Batu remains in treatment and is still at risk, Fox said Wednesday.

Actually Johnsons sire was the Sri Lankan bull Chanda/Calvin.There's a few more at ALS coming. Rex (OKC) is Johnson's sire, it's not surprising given their prolific breeding capability. Rex/Asha are currently the next Asians to have a calf
