True, but it is kinda broken up into an Asia group and a South America group (alligators not withstanding)Phoenix Zoo does NOT have an Asian section. Maybe you are thinking of Tropics Trail? That includes animals from tropical areas including South America (though not sure I would consider the Andes habitat of the Andean bear tropical), Southeast Asia, and even Florida (alligators).
I haven't been myself, but Miami and Houston look really good. From what I have seen, I like Shedd, although it is smaller and an aquarium, and missing many mammals and birds. What about for south america?
I think we have a winner. How about DWA for South America? Their species list for neotropical birds are very nice and of course they get 3 toed sloths.
Judging just off of species list, yeah they're definitely one of the best, especially if you include Central America (Antillean Manatees and Yapok!). I personally wouldn't put DWA near the best South American area, given how questionable a lot of the exhibits are.How about DWA for South America? Is the Yapok still there!?Judging just off of species list, yeah they're definitely one of the best, especially if you include Central America (Antillean Manatees and Yapok!). I personally wouldn't put DWA near the best South American area, given how questionable a lot of the exhibits are.
Miami has a very nice South America area, never visited Jacksonville but their exhibit looks pretty good as well. LA's is ok, although the Giant Otter exhibit is pretty great. Amazon Rising at Shedd is tremendous, definitely the best South American aquarium exhibit.
I'm pretty sure it is, not sure if the Yapok's on-exhibit currently though. Might also be a new animal (I did not see any when I visited 1.5 years ago).Is the Yapok still there!?
I agree they are the best in regards to south americaI think we have a winner.
Also Venezuelan Red Howlers and Red-backed Bearded Sakis.
Agreed.Arctic ring of life in Detroit.

I don't agree.Agreed.
Than why do you think is the best Arctic exhibit?I don't agree.
Arctic Ring of Life is the best by far. Other good ones are Henry Vilas, Minnesota, SeaWorld Orlando, Woodland Park, and Point Defiance, but the don't compare.I don't agree.
