Wilhelma Zoo Wilhelma zoo, Stuttgart

The Wilhelma has announced the replacement of the former polar bear enclosure. And that is very surprising, because the zoo wants to start breeding a critically endangered cat, which requires two enclosures. Cheetahs will soon move into the exhibitafter the water basin has been filled with soil and a few trees have been planted. Honestly, I think it's nonsense. Cheetahs are now regularly bred in so many zoos that Wilhelma does not have to participate in them. Especially since the existing cheetah exhibit is no longer suitable for these animals. The polar bear enclosure was already out of date for large bears when it was opened, so it is out of the question for bears now, but it would be very useful for a seal species or sea otter. However, the underwater view would probably be too small. So now there are cheetahs so that visitors can soon see cute kittens. Too bad you could also have a wonderful facility for meerkats and warthogs. Or African Penguins, the present exhibit for them ist not that good....

I was looking for the opening hours of the zoo, anyone can help me as I find very different informations online?

I got the original details from Opening Times - Wilhelma. Wilhelma - zoologisch-botanischer Garten: Öffnungszeiten - Wilhelma gives longer hours, but my laptop can't translate the details into English. I must admit that giving different opening hours in English and German is confusing.

Oh wow, that is a bad English page. Most parts are just missing and only the asterisk the explains that the third entrance is only open on busy days and then only from 10-4 is shown. Same problem with the entrance fees...

Hi all, I'm potentially visiting Wilhelma in the next few months. Can anyone verify if this zoo aquarium currently has Cuttlefish and/or Nautilus?
