First month is over and we have 11 participants already (not including myself - my plans to get out to zoos in January had to be scrapped, but this month I should finally get to post a count). It also looks like people are updating regularly which is a great start; let's keep that going.
Noticed a couple things to address, sorry if it seems late:
Having just looked it up, I know that Minnesota Zoo has Black-tailed Prairie Dog and will count it as such; in the future, though, you need to specify the exact species you saw (there are several species of prairie dog, for example). On a related note, remember in the future to use the Latin (scientific) names for all of your species counts also.
I had no issue counting your species this time, but a reminder to you as well to include Latin names in future updates.
