Well, if I had been forced to guess I would have guessed the right answer ( thanks Google)! However, I am currently out of inspiration for a question, so I’ll stay stum for a while!

The inspiration was for the following question:
Name an insect with only four legs (jumping legs are still legs, before anyone goes down that line)!

Some Aphaenogaster worker ants lack the metathorax and propodeum. The mid-thorax is fused directly to the second abdominal segment, so the hind legs are missing.

I was also thinking of some female butterflies with 4 legs.

Which insect was considered to be a symbol of corruption? It was thought to be able to kill on sight and to eat sinners.

For corruption, maybe flies particularly bluebottles, but I can’t imagine the fatal outcome being associated with them; surely they were too prevalent.

Sorry, Tetzoo Quizzer

I saw a Death's Head Hawk Moth exhibition at the Cambridge Zoology Museum. The moth used as a symbol in 'Silence of the Lambs' isn't the British form of moth
