Which zoos do you think have the best entrance or entrances? This can be in regards to aesthetic, style, history, visitor flow or anything else.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park has a cool entrance
I find that image hilarious for so many reasons and I've always wanted to use it
But yeah it has this really cool thatched entrance that is massive and very quickly puts you into the park. It isn't like other zoos that have a transition period after the entrance no it immediately takes you there.

I agree with you about Berlin Zoo's Elephant Gate; It is probably my second favourite zoo entrance gate.
My favourite, though, is definitely the old entrance gate of Hamburg (Hagenbeck's) Zoo.
Two Elephant Gates in Berlin and Budapest are the best entrances imo.
Forgot about Budapest, but it is indeed a really beautiful entrance.
Not the best looking entrance out there, but the one in Frankfurt has a cool feature : you can - if the animals are inside - look at the howler monkeys in their inside exhibit while waiting to buy your entrance tickets.
Somewhat partial to the modern styles at ARTIS and Woodland Park, but Chester is also good
One entrance that always astounds me from my limited number of zoos visited, has to be the Los Angeles Zoo. It sort of reminds of the gates to Jurassic Park, perhaps why I like it so much plus it feels like a step up from the previous entrance I knew as a kid in the 90’s.

I think its nice but with all the signs and banners its a bit busy. Although I like the style and landscaping around it.The Singapore Zoo entrance is rather nice:
I barely know anything about the Birmingham Zoo, but I really enjoy the modern look of their entrance, and it seems like there's a lot more to it than just tickets and information.
Based on the zoos I have been to, the entry village at the Nashville Zoo really stands out. I have never seen an entrance look like an African village, making it very unique. The fish ponds are also a nice touch. Nashville definitely took it a few steps up from their old entrance.
