Same! I am upset that we don’t have a gibbon though.

I know, that's annoying. Hopefully though we'll get more like this in the future with more animals and fewer scenery items.
And of course the sun bears and other south east asian animals are no Free animals.
I would love to have These Species but unfortunatly i dosent have the Money to buy it.
Do you Guys know If there are any Steam Sales where you can get the Dlcs for Free?

I'm so surprised they went with 8 animals and keeping the approximate same price. I was clamoring from the beginning for a binturong, and the clouded leopard and sun bear were also high on my list. The babirusa and proboscis monkeys are very welcome surprises. I wish they had included more exhibit animals, including at least one reptile (where are the cobras?) but overall I'm pleased with the news.
I'm not much of a builder myself so I'm not that disappointed because of the lack of building pieces (though a Buddhist or Khmer set would have been great to build an Angkor Wat-like structure) but I hoped we'd at least get some new plants

It's good that there's still interest in more DLCs, hopefully we'll get maybe an Indonesian one too down the line as well as a Madagascan, African, North American and New Zealand one. I highly doubt it will be given away for free anytime soon, maybe in a few years it may do. I got Shogun total war 2 for free but that is quite an old game now.

Agreed, free DLC animals just won't be happening.
Here's hoping this pack opens the floodgates for more animal-exclusive packs. I would love to see an African pack featuring animals that are still missing (African rhinos, leopards, baboons, meerkats, more birds, and hoofstock, etc).
One thing that I am disappointed though is the choice of only one exhibit animal. Southeast Asia is one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet and there is particularly great reptile diversity, I would've liked at-least one new reptile species from the region, preferably a snake or lizard species.

Malayan tapir is just a lame reskin of Baird's. The real animal has longer snout.
Wow, lots of new animals! I had a hunch that we might eventually get a DLC pack with just animals. Decor-wise, PZ already has a lot of the major themes you'd see in a zoo.
I Hope there will be a Steam Sale in the Next Weeks.
By the way are Steam Sales only for the Base Game or can you get the dlc Packs too?

Also with this pack, we've got the compulsory wild dog species (at least this time it's a fairly interesting species). They do love to re-use that wolf model over and over. Grey Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Dingo, Dhole...Malayan tapir is just a lame reskin of Baird's. The real animal has longer snout.

Does it matter? No.
Quite happy for them to reskin lots of animals and give us to great variety, hence why I am a bit disappointed there is no gibbons as they could be re-skinned a few times. As long as they don't reskin an elephant for the mayalan tapir it doesn't matter.
