Found out from PZ today that Calang arrived at Perth Zoo on the 20th January 1994 and died on the 2nd January 2006. I always assumed he moved from Melbourne around the same time as his littermate Seletan but turns out he stayed at MZ two years longer.
 
Vanni of Zoo Frankfurt was euthanized at the age of only 11, probably due to a tumor. There is no tiger left in Frankfurt, they will use the exhibit for the lions while renovating their enclosure before having tigers again (probably 2023).
 
The last news about it is two months old. Back then they said they are assuming three females and named them Jambi, Dumai and Sabah. However they said that it isn't safe and they would know more in a couple weeks after the second check. Results were not reported if the second check has happened in the meantime.

Both Sumatran tigers at Tierpark Cottbus died in 2021 by the way. Tangse died on September 14, Masat on December 28. They were siblings, born in December 15, so both passed very young.
