Same here, I would really be shocked if it was a whole different pack, as this pack contains quintessential african animals that should've been in the base game since the start, honestly it's better to just get it off the way as soon as possible

A peccary would be great! I'd love to see a South American animal pack as well with maned wolf, capybara, tamandua, Andean bear, bush dog, sloth and manatee?
With all these potential new DLCs planned it looks like I've gotta find space in my zoo to accommodate them. I'm busy trying to make a zoo with every species (something I still haven't achieved) so I'm gonna build all the exhibits for the species that have yet to be included like African leopard, golden snub-nosed monkey etc.
I want to see Collared Peccary in the game, I want more species besides Pronghorn I can use the Saguaros for.

Yeah, I always found it weird how PZ included so many amazing cacti and other north american desert plants yet they have no habitat species that actually like them

Same here, I'm currently building a zoo with all the animals divided per biome according to the official site, I'm almost done with the Savannah and the next is the Rainforest
If it's true we're waiting at least a year and a half for an avian pack. Looks like aquatics is a possibility too. Looks like we're going to be trundling along with small packs every so often like they did with Jurassic World Evolution.
I would really love to believe it and don't live in doubt but leaks like this can break your heart if they give false hopes

Here's an idea - why not stop looking at "leaks", enjoy what we have, and wait to see what actually comes our way?
Because people want to be hopeful or want explanations even if it’s bs. Take it from me, someone who listens to conspiracy theories.
I think what they're getting at is that an Africa DLC is such an obvious choice for the game that it would be an easy one to fake a leak for. And the list contains a lot of the most iconic African animals, again, obvious choices for the game.
I don't want to get my hopes up too high. But there is a lot of potential for a game like PZ, if the money is there and the developers are interested in continuing it.
(side note, I hope Pokemon Legends is good! I didn't bother getting Sword/Shield because I'm just so tired with how stagnant the main series games have gotten. Maybe Legends will give me the new experience I want)

If that's true that PZ will only see two more DLC, without adding aquatics or birds that's really disappointing. I really hope that part of the "leak" isn't true. Given the other "leaks" contradict the DLCs ending this year, hopefully that is the route things go. Ironically most of the animals from the two mentioned DLCs are already available as mods, including the seller animals (Moose and Black Rhino).
I always figured that PZ would get about as much DLC as Planet Coaster did. If that's the case, then yeah, we wouldn't have much left. And when they opened up the game for modding, it got me thinking that we probably wouldn't get a ton of new DLC.
I don't have reason to believe any of these leaks, and I'm skeptical that Frontier would give so much major news to someone who just makes Frontier-related content. But, lets say that this leak is legit. A Planet Coaster sequel means that a PZ sequel or spinoff is likely someday. And I'd love a separate Planet Aquarium game.
Side note, not gonna be able to go out this weekend so I finally have a chance to play the SEA pack! Can't wait to try out the clouded leopard and the babirusa.

When I saw this leak I was like "f*** man", because this game has so much potential and seeing it ending this soon makes me really sad, I don't believe any if these leaks now and I'm just gonna take what comes next, pretending to not have read any of these
@Mickey i think it is very sad indeed and i Hope we will get at least the Aviary Pack with parotts, vultures, Song birds and maybee a saddlebill stork would be cool. And i think there should be more european animals, Hufstook , primates, small mammals and North America animals in the Game.
We Zoo nerds need These animals and i am sure i am Not the only one who would Like to See this animals added to the Game.
By the way one of the Most famous semi aquatic Species is Not in the Game it is the California Sea Lion.
I realy Hope that Planet Zoo does Not Go extinct, as many famous and important Zoo animals are stil Missing from the Game.
