Question regarding Veitnamese Pheasant SSP

So recently I’ve seen on the AZA social media pages announce that the SSP Sustainability Award went to the Vietnamese Pheasant program. My question is does this encompass the Edwards Pheasant in the SSP for the AZA as well? I’ve seen some Edward’s Pheasants at the SDZ Safari Park and they have piqued my interest in pheasants along with my growing love of birds and ungulates in general Perhaps the mighty @Great Argus would know the answer!

I don't know a whole lot on the subject, but the award in question is basically to highlight a species that is being successfully increased and stabilized by the its SSP program. It's an AZA created award, so yes it does include the Edward's Pheasants in AZA zoos. See the AZA link below for additional information.
