The sika are listed as Dybowski deer (ssp. hortulorum) on ztl, but I saw no signs of that in the park. The status of this from also seems unclear, can someone elaborate which kinds of sika deer count how for this challenge?

Dybowski and Vietnamese sika count as one tick, non-subspecific sika and Japanese count as another, and Taiwan sika count as a third.

Do they still have Axis Deer? I thought they had dispensed with them a year or two ago?
Still signed and they looked like Axis, may have been fallow though as only saw them from afar. They weren't with the main Fallow herd though... I'll take them off for now and await further confirmation. Didn't see the Blackbuck in the Asian drive-through either...
Confirmed - Whipsnade no longer have axis deer.
Yes, I think the sign may be still up but they haven't got them anymore. Better scrub from your list....
Afaik the female Blackbuck are still there though.

Think that's it, definitely saw the rest. Didn't see the Reindeer, Blackbuck or Muntjac, made sure we saw everything else. Didn't realise they still had the Pzrewalski's Horses so they were a very pleasant surprise. Also didn't think we'd see the water deer but we spotted two in a matter of seconds towards the end of the day.

The water deer I almost always see in the white rhino paddock and the Passage Thru Asia. The muntjacs I normally find either up by the penguins, or near the giraffes.
