What plans do they have with their pachyderms (rhino+elephants)?
More specifically, could you ask about their breeding plans for female elephants Rudy and Sundara, and if they plan on sending their young male Beco to another zoo anytime soon?

Great news. Unfortunately for the elephant cow Phoebe, the calf is again a bull and she still won't start family.
The zoo seems to be posting fairly frequent updates on Pheobe's calf. I'm no expert but he looks pretty healthy, can't wait to make the trip up to see the little fella when he has his public debut!

On June 26th, it was reported that the zoo will unveil its second roller coaster, named Tidal Twist. It will be located in Adventure Cove, adjacent the seal and sea lion habitat.

The zoo has announced that Phoebe’s (elephant) calf will be making his public debut tomorrow and will be able to be seen from 10 AM to noon for now!
A Thomson gazelle calf was born in May and is being hand-reared by keepers. The calf’s mother died three days after the birth due to complications with the birthing process.

Does anyone know where I can find the zoos old master plan/ previous plans? Been trying to find what the zoo had hoped to do/is still planning on doing, however the information appears to be elusive.

I think it is safe to say that all former plans will be reviewed by in-coming director/CEO and the old Master Plan will probably be abandoned and a new one created. A great deal has changed with zoo leadership in the past year
