No, I will be there in one week. That's not for when your trip is, I hope?
Awesome!! Do you have any other information on the cat, like his name?Black footed cat arrived from Fossil Rim and is currently held off exhibit in the building behind its main exhibit. It will go on exhibit in approximately two weeks.
No I didn't ask the name. Fossil Rim has their black--footed cats in an off exhibit area, which is why they are waiting to put this one on exhibit. He is not used to the noise of the public so they are keeping him in the building to gradually get used to the sounds. Also it appears they have not added the ramps to get to the connector between the indoor and outdoor exhibits (similar to what the serval has). The connector walkway is there, but not the ramps to it on either the inside or outside. I am not sure if they will install those immediately or let the cat get used to the indoor space first. I also don't know if they plan to do this or not, but it seems they could rotate the sand cat and black footed cat occasionally, since their indoor spaces have the same look.Awesome!! I have noticed that there is no ramp to get to the walkway too, I hope they start on that soon. The center has also said that there will be another layer of mesh put on where the several and black-footed cat exhibits meet, and that there will probably need to be a two gate entrance into the exhibit installed (As seen for the rest of the cats and the red pandas)No I didn't ask the name.
