well they have indeed built a paddock for the reindeerAs do about 75% of stately homes, gardens, parks and other such places holding Christmas fayres and other seasonal eventsso I think it doesn't exactly count as counter-evidence against the idea the collection is now limited to meerkats, goats and a smattering of birds.
Has anybody been to Wicksteed Park recently ? if some has you may have saw this
If you're implying that you believe this proves the collection keeps more captive species than previously discussed, I'm fairly sure I am correct in my suspicion those are wild/feral individuals free to come and go

Feral Greylags. They seem everywhere in parks nowadays and places like Slimbridge are overrun with them too. They seem to have replaced Canadas in some areas as the 'urban-dwelling goose' but were unknown in this situation a few decades go.

I have indeed and that was fun. Due to Covid I have not been able to do so as it's at the moment not safe
It is birds, parrots, goats, reindeer and meerkats Wicksteed Park is looking after
