Now this gets interesting :D

So I gather that White-lipped deer, European bison, babirusa, Asiatic water buffalo and gayal were no-shows? Or are those speices covered by their counterpart at Berlin zoo?
Apart from that, you counted both Cape buffalo and red buffalo (from Blijdorp). Do we count those as separate species?

Apologies first, forgot about the red buffalo, so the Cape buffalo doesn’t count.
Apart from that, I did indeed see the European bison thanks for noticing, so that compensates with each other:
58. European bison (Bison bonasus)
I indeed did not see the white-lipped deer or babirusa, I did see the water buffalos and gayals, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to count them, @ShonenJake13 can you help please?

Water buffalo count as their own entry, gayal are counted the same as gaur for this challenge so you can count one or the other but not both.

No tufted deer?
Nope, tried loads of times and even stalked the enclosures out for about 45 minutes towards the end of the day. No joy whatsoever and I know we didn't miss them because the food and hay remained untouched for the duration of our visit. Bit of a blow as I'm not going to pick them up elsewhere this year. :(

As I won't be leaving the UK this year I think you have now equalled my maximum likely total, not even sure I'll get that far though!
I'm thinking I might be able to hit 70 at a push, so well done you for even thinking about (possibly) hitting 90 for the UK alone! :p:D

My possible is based on

Scotland 5
Chester 2
Knowsley 2
Cromer 1
Dudley 1
Twycross 1
Newquay 1

How many of the last 4 are likely we will have to see!! Also I haven't looked where additional Sika species can be seen!

Yeah, my total is likely to increase by about six or seven in the next month and then I think I may have peaked. Don't see me getting to Marwell this year and that's probably the one collection I'd need to break seventy.
