What is the best reptile zoo?

Depends on your individual criteria and your knowledge regarding reptile husbandry.
If I had to pick a single zoo that excels in exhibiting a wide variety of reptiles in Europe, it would absolutely be the Berlin Zoo-Aquarium. Honorable mentions would be Chester, Vienna and Barcelona

I must admit it's hard to pick just one; many zoos and aquariums have an excellent reptile collection.
The thread srarter, however, explicitly asks for the best reptile zoo, not the best reptile collection in a zoo or an aquarium.

For me, those are two different things. You would never call Zoo Berlin, Forth Worth or St. Louis Zoo etc. a "reptile zoo" , despite their solid reptile collections. Whereas Reptile Zoo Breda, Landau, Rapid City or Scheidegg even state their specialization in their official names.

Gotta go with De Oliemeulen in Tilburg, The Netherlands. It started out as a reptile zoo in the 80s and while it has expanded over the years with adding various birds and mammals to their collection but the focus is still on the reptiles and arachnids that the park has started out with. Definitely worth a visit if you are ever in The Netherlands. :^)
