The zoo has a very nice collection of New World monkeys then! As for Atelopus, I've never heard of them being kept together and I imagine they run a hybridization risk but I don't know.

Their new World Monkey collection is probably my favorite part about going to Buttonwood- some of the rare ducks are nice as well. It will be great once they get Spider monkeys in the masterplan- that will really round out the New World Monkey collection.
On April 15th, the zoo announced that a baby Bolivian grey tit monkey was born on February 2nd.

On August 11th, the zoo officially announced they have acquired (1.1) Corsacoba swans from a facility (unnamed) because of their SSP.

On August 26th, the zoo officially announced they have acquired a 3-month-old (1.0) Virginia opossum named Odin. Odin was at the Cape Cod Wildlife Center earlier in the summer because of a dog attack, and is now a part of the animal ambassador program due to losing an eye.

Yay! The bison habitat has always seen rather empty since the deer left. Glad to see they got more now.
When at Buttonwood yesterday, I noticed that the Peru habitat in Rainforests was rather empty. The only animals seen were the hoffmann's two-toed sloth pair, a matamata turtle, and four African pygmy geese, plus a few fish. These were also the only species signed. I seemed to remember this habitat being a lot busier in the past. Which other species lived in this habitat, and does anyone know what happened to them? I'm especially curious about the Peruvian pigeons, which weren't signed at all and weren't seen. Were they in this habitat? Also missed were hawk-headed parrot, brazilian teal, ringed teal, and indian pygmy goose, which the zoo supposedly has but weren't signed or seen. Could some of these have came from that habitat? I wouldn't be surprised if some birds were removed due to the sloth baby, even though it was sad to miss the pigeons.
I cannot answer your question here but does the zoo still have Bare-Eyed Pigeons?

I didn't see any and they weren't signed at all.
On September 22nd, the zoo released an article announcing that one of their (0.2) Asian elephants named Ruth is undergoing treatment for an "age-related foot issue" and as such is not on exhibit.
