Bristol Zoo Project Wild Place News 2021

Why no update the area along with new attractive exhibits for bongo, gorilla, pygmy hippo, RRH and Birds of the Rainforests of Central Africa (bonobo ...).
I am sure there is a lot of planning going on about the changes that will happen when Wild Place becomes the new Bristol Zoo. But no decisions can be made until plans for the redevelopment of current Bristol site are agreed and the contract(s) for the sale of the site are signed. I expect that proposals for the new exhibits at the Wild Place site will be published shortly after the deals are done.

Visited today. Couple of things to point out.
1) Old okapi enclosure, seems to be one of the houses have been taken down.
2) One of the fences in the okapi enclosures have been removed, opening up the enclosure to a much bigger size.

Aside from that, wolf and okapi enclosures still empty. We also haven't noticed the dik diks on the last 3 occasions, anybody else sighted them?
Also, what happened to the cranes that shared the enclosure with them?

Also, was nice to see one of the Red River Hogs roaming the grass paddock, usually when we go all the animals prefer standing around on the harder gravel paddock. Is their a reason the gates to the grass paddock are usually closed for eland/zebra?

Many thanks all!
