I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread of all the movement of animals from zoo to zoo.

I like your enthusiasm, but an idea like this will get unwieldy and unreliable extremely fast. Animals of all species are transferred between zoos on a daily or near-daily basis, and many (perhaps the majority) of these transfers are not reported. Additionally, the news threads for individual zoos are already used for reporting transfers when they are known; this seems like a more efficient system, since it allows the transfers to be organized by place. In this thread the updates would be unorganized and much harder to locate.
True but with this if your not looking for a certain zoo you can just check what’s happened recently
That way you don’t have to go looking all over for certain threads
I'm not quite sure what the value is of just looking at the most recent transfers, not specific to any zoo or species.
Everything in this thread would also just be a duplicate post of things already posted in the news threads anyway, but not indexed for easy search.
Yea but in the zoo specific ones other things will be talked about too and I was thinking of a thread that is just strictly US animal transactions only.
There are way too many animals transferred pretty much daily and it will be very hard to track every one. Especially the smaller and less popular animals. Plus there are already several threads tracking transfers (and births and deaths) of many species.
Is there a way we could make a similarly thread but more organized
