Thread of the Year 2021: Nominations

which was loosely based on the award winning Mesozoic Zoo series.

Like you say it was voted 2nd best thread on ZooChat. Not too shabby imo. It remains one of the most successful fantasy series, second only to Zoo Decisions.

By definition, it was Award Not-Winning :p much like Zoo Decisions!

Agree to disagree on that one. (Also you forgot to say of 2020, not all time.)
They're all dead now anyways so no point arguing about it.

Of course you disagree, you ran a competing series. :p

Like you say, it’s pretty pointless dredging it up.

I disagree due to things I read in your threads, not because I co-ran Zoo Community.
And the fact you've never actually won with any thread, so technically none of them are "award-winning."

Just pointing out you’re hardly impartial when it comes to commenting on what was the best fantasy thread when you ran a competing thread.

Do people really think of threads as competing? I thought this was just a fun end of year thing that doesn't really matter.

Agreed. We were talking about two different fantasy series - a related topic but nothing that affect this year’s competition which should remain the focus subject of this thread.

I don't recall ever claiming that Zoo Community was the best fantasy thread. I don't care whether it was or not, and it isn't my idea to take credit for anyways, you should know that. Given Zoo Community never made into the vote, I don't know why you're considering it competition anyway.
In terms of my impartiality, various arguments and now long-deleted posts from you in regards to Zoo Community and particularly Zoo Competition don't exactly help my view of you, besides the aforementioned things I've read in the fantasy threads you've run.

That’s your opinion and I don’t disagree you’re entitled to it.

Hey let's stop it. Focus on thread create this year. We all know fantasy thread never win top spot (that's a fact) and it'll never be due to the restriction on those thread now. So I don't think it is a good thing to take pride of.

Yeah I also don't think likes on social media matter yet people take it very seriously. Let him enjoy the pride himself.

Not that it makes much difference to the rankings, but I make the total 10 valid votes for amur leopard's thread:

Me, Platypusboy, philippine eagle, Strix, Hungarian bison, aardvark, Chunkymunky, Gerenuk, twilighter, and Lankey kong.
