Not too impressive, but I do happen to live in Illinois, which is low on mammals, but has many more animals from different groups. Anyway, here goes:

Also, dead ones I was just making a point on how I have never seen live wild opossums

I just remembered that living raccoons should be added to my list along with bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions, sea otters, humpback whales, and Florida manatees.

I haven't had the opportunity of visiting natural environments with the goal of watching animals prior to the pandemic, so my list consists of only two species that I've managed to observe:

01. Central American Spider Monkey (Ateles geoffroyi spp. vellerosus)
02. Red-Bellied Squirrel (Sciurus aureogaster spp. nigrescens). [Though I'm sure if it was a red-bellied squirrel, as it could also be a variegated squirrel. I find them quite difficult to tell apart).

I've also seen Collared Peccaries (Dicotyles tajacu), but I'm not sure they were entirely wild, as I saw them at the entrance of a zoo (the zoo was, however, at the edges of a patch of rainforest).
