What is your ranking of the MCU movies? (from least favorite to most favorite)

It's interesting to note that the best reviewed film of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is Black Panther, with a 96% positive rating on rottentomatoes. That's a great film and the only MCU movie that has been nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Then there is Eternals, which currently has a 65% positive rating and it could well be the worst reviewed film in the MCU. Even lower than Thor: The Dark World and The Incredible Hulk. Yikes!
 
With several new movies since my last update plus the fact I have managed to rewatch every movie in the past few months then I feel it's time for a reshuffle and new ranking.

I honestly liked Black Widow but I wish they made it differently. I feel it should have been more akin to an 80s spy thriller, which is how I feel The Winter Solider felt, rather than more of a generic filler superhero flick. I'm sure they'll expand on some elements/characters in the future but for now it feels like not-so-necessary backstory to a deceased character.

It's safe to say that I am now an official Marvel Cinematic Universe fan. I was gifted a whole year of Disney+ for Christmas, so you can only guess what I've spent the last month doing :p. It was a nice experience to watch them all for the first time (well, besides the five I'd seen prior), and now I have to wait for new content like the rest of you plebeians! :D

My extremely initial reaction (I got out of the theater less than 30 minutes ago) is that Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (2022) is a somewhat fun film, but overall, I think it could have been done fairly differently... and better. Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing where it falls on the rankings of other MCU fans.

I have decided to make my ranking of the MCU movies. I have seen all of them now, except for the ones I haven't. Some I have only seen once a long time ago, and some I barely remember, so this ranking is meaningless. If I watched them all again the list would be in a completely different order.

(Edit: I just remembered I have seen some Spiderman movies too - at least the one with Sandman - but I can't be bothered adding them in...)
(Edit 2: but I guess the ones I've seen aren't MCU Spiderman movies are they? I don't know).

Kinda agree with your ranking ish, bar Black Widow which started very good then turned into the ridiculous, so its in my crap pile.

The latest spidermen film (no way home) is for me the best, of the Spiderman films.

Multiverse of Madness was equally Scarlet Witch and Dr. Strange. It has a naff ending but some good bits.

I don't really like my rankings, but it is an awkward mix of movies I have seen multiple times (like Ragnarok) and movies I have seen once a long time ago (like Incredible Hulk or Iron Man 2). There are probably a bunch of movies in the list which should be higher or lower than I have them.

I'm going to try Love and Thunder again when it comes out on Disney+ and see what I think on the rewatch, but it is one of those movies which was bad to watch for various reasons and then gets worse the more you think about it afterwards (whereas some movies get better in your head). I just watched a review video last night which compared it to a skit show rather than a movie, and that actually sounded right to me.

Black Widow had several problems but Yelena's character raised it higher in the ranking than it might have been. She made the movie much more fun to watch than it would have otherwise been.I put some thoughts on both these movies in the Movie Review thread (Love and Thunder in a spoiler box to hide it if you don't want to read that much).
