Ok because since I've been visiting I only remember the warthogs and malayan tapir in there also does anyone know if tuan is still alive because I saw him back in August at the top of the first netted enclosure in ROTRA and I've also seen him at the back of the netted enclosure by the exit are those his exhibits now or does he still live in the old ape houseAn awful lot!
Off the top of my head, in the time I've been visiting, I can remember Gemsbok, Babirusa and Visayan Warty Pig in addition to those two but that's probably not even the complete list from 'my' era.
Pretty sure it housed a Zeedonk at one point.Another question apart from anoa and malayan tapir dies anyone have a list of species that resided in that side of the house since it was built
I assumed he was still in the old ape house? Either way, I'm pretty sure he is still alive.Ok because since I've been visiting I only remember the warthogs and malayan tapir in there also does anyone know if tuan is still alive because I saw him back in August at the top of the first netted enclosure in ROTRA and I've also seen him at the back of the netted enclosure by the exit are those his exhibits now or does he still live in the old ape house

I can confirm Tuan was still alive when I visited in late December. And yes, he lives in the semi-offshow netted enclosure (it was modified a few years back for him).Ok because since I've been visiting I only remember the warthogs and malayan tapir in there also does anyone know if tuan is still alive because I saw him back in August at the top of the first netted enclosure in ROTRA and I've also seen him at the back of the netted enclosure by the exit are those his exhibits now or does he still live in the old ape house
I remember two Grevy's zebra X horse hybrids (but not a zebra X donkey hybrid).Pretty sure it housed a Zeedonk at one point.
I remember them too. Apparently they were deposited by a circus which never came back to collect them- so goes the story anyway.I remember two Grevy's zebra X horse hybrids (but not a zebra X donkey hybrid).
Indeed. One lived about twenty years, the other around thirty years. They had the zebroids (Grevy's X horse) for many years.
Colchester had a trio of zeedonks.I think the zeedonk was at Colchester.
They were there last week.Does anyone know if the red panda in rotra is still in their or have the zoo moved it to another collection

For the foreseeable or just an individual needed to be isolated? They were there last week.
They've been there for what feels like a while now, I don't know why they are there... I assume they are the offspring from the pair in the usual enclosure and are being held their temporarily until another collection takes them but that's just a guess. For the foreseeable or just an individual needed to be isolated?
