Lowland Anoa (as of the start of January at least). :)

So it really is a Cattle House at the moment..!

An awful lot!

Off the top of my head, in the time I've been visiting, I can remember Gemsbok, Babirusa and Visayan Warty Pig in addition to those two but that's probably not even the complete list from 'my' era.

Ok because since I've been visiting I only remember the warthogs and malayan tapir in there also does anyone know if tuan is still alive because I saw him back in August at the top of the first netted enclosure in ROTRA and I've also seen him at the back of the netted enclosure by the exit are those his exhibits now or does he still live in the old ape house

I assumed he was still in the old ape house? Either way, I'm pretty sure he is still alive.

Can confirm that the lowland anoa are still there.

I can confirm Tuan was still alive when I visited in late December. And yes, he lives in the semi-offshow netted enclosure (it was modified a few years back for him).

They had the zebroids (Grevy's X horse) for many years.
The house also held cassowaries at around the same time.

I think the zeedonk was at Colchester.

I don't claim this list is 100% accurate but I can remember

New Guinea twin-wattled cassowary
red kangaroo
Beisa oryx
scimitar-horned oryx
gemsbok
East African roan antelope
Ankole cattle
onager
kulan
onager x kulan
zebroid (Grevy's zebra x horse)
warthog
Congo buffalo
lowland anoa
Malayan tapir
Negros warty pig
Grant's zebra
Grevy's zebra
babirusa

Also for one day only, 11th April 1989 on the occasion of the visit of HRH The Princess of Wales - a group of school children. They may have been junior members. I can't say for sure because they were not labelled. :p

For the foreseeable or just an individual needed to be isolated?
They've been there for what feels like a while now, I don't know why they are there... I assume they are the offspring from the pair in the usual enclosure and are being held their temporarily until another collection takes them but that's just a guess.

That is the reason.
