Babie elephants born in Uk

I would like to know how many elephant calfs have been born in UK zoos in the history of zoos keeping and breeding elephants so far I found out that
Belfast zoo
enclosure size 0.60 acers
Babies 1
Longleat
enclosure size 1.20 acers

enclosure size 1.55 ac

If you want extra information I think it would be a good idea to look at the elephant database if you haven't already- you can find this in the "Websites about Zoos & Animal Conservation" forum. Also I believe that Chester zoo have had for than 4 babies born, this is backed up by the Elephant Database. Unless you are only counting animals that lived to a certain age or lived to be moved to another zoo or have offspring.

Chester Zoo have indeed had 22 births. A number of your figures are way off @Macaulay e.g. Colchester Zoo have had seven births (not two) if you include the five stillbirths at their facility.

Yeah I'm only counting baby's that live not still born or die hours or days after birth.

1.0 Anjan (2018) Aung Bo x Thi
0.1 Riva (2020) Aung Bo x Sundara

A further two survived to adulthood, but are now deceased:

1.0 Jubilee (1977) Nobby x Judy - Died 2003
0.1 Sithami (1997) Chang x Thi - Died 2018
