too late for the poll, but I visited 4 zoos and aquariums last year, with some repeated visits.

A bit late on this but I visited:
Binder Park Zoo
John Ball Zoo
Shedd Aquarium
Indianapolis Zoo
Toledo Zoo
Out of Africa Wildlife Park
Bearizona Wildlife Park

Not gonna lie, I do envy those who are lucky enough to live near or in the Schengen area.

Anyways, in 2021 I visited two new places:

St Augustine Alligator Farm
and
Turtle Back zoo

There’s also some shopping mall menagerie+aquarium I visited but idk if that would count.

I'm gonna count early 2022 as well :)

Bronx
Los Angeles
San Diego
SD Safari Park
Zoo Miami
Palm Beach
Naples
Lion Safari in FL
Audobon in New Orleans
Out of Africa Safari in AZ
Philadelphia (but it closed early due to bad weather, so can't really count it)

Also visited several wildlife sanctuaries like Arnolds Rehab in FL and Adirondack Sanctuary in NY

Any interesting mammals at either of those places??
The most interesting animal at Adirondack was in my opinion the Eurasian Lynx, as most of the other animals were native to the region (they didnt have a Canada Lynx which I have yet to see believe it or not). There were also Black Bears, Red Fox, Timber Wolves, Coyotes, Bobcats and NA Porcupines when I went this past summer. I was able to get quite close to the bears, two beautiful sisters that were raised by one of the volunteers there.
Arnolds didn't have anything too rare. A few cats, Fishing, Caracal and Serval. A few lemurs that you can feed including Ringtail, Black and White Ruffed and a relatively less comon Brown Lemur. There was a Muntjac as well, not sure the species though. And a few other common animals like Fennec Fox, American Otters, Common Marmoset, Capuchins etc.
