Pick your Poison (8/8) - COMPLETE

Friendly reminder to everyone: if you haven't checked the requirements for all of the Trials since I started the game on Jan 1, go back to the first page and re-read the edited version to make sure you have them right. Example: Pick Your Poison is now a 6-species requirement, not 8.

Mystic Aquarium - 2/12/22

Welcome to the game @Dyl0526 :) just a reminder that I need the Latin names for all of your counts going forward, so that I know what it is you're counting. For example, I don't know what the following two counts are supposed to be without Latin:

Common mantella
Elepilide shark

It's not a big deal for stuff like beluga or African penguin, but for stuff like ectotherms there are too many variable common names for me to assume what you saw.

2. Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas)

Could have sworn you were bull sharking me on this one, but it does seem right! I'll have to add Oklahoma Aquarium to my must-see list.

You sure it was Eastern? We have both Eastern and Western here in the States.

One other question: would European mouflon count for Bovine Bonanza?

Good question. I'll get back to you on that.

I can't view Facebook pages most of the time, including that one. Does it say it's Eastern or are you getting that ID from something else?

Here's the text for you:
"Here’s some news that’s sure to put a bounce in your step … grey kangaroos are back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park!
Meet Buckeye and mom, Millie. This “hoppy” duo came to us from another accredited institution as part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan. By working with the SSP, we’re able to learn more about grey kangaroos and help keep the population in managed care healthy and genetically diverse.
We’re so excited to watch this family grow! “Hop” on over to Discovery Island to meet Buckeye, Millie and the rest of the grey kangaroo group, also known as a “mob.”"

The kangaroos pictured in the Facebook post are Western Grey Kangaroos rather than Eastern Greys.
