I know this is gonna be a really challenging task for a lot of you guys, but I was just curious if you think it's okay to have species lists of all the plants found in zoos and aquariums. I know botany is definitely not everyone's strong suit here, but if there any Zoochatters who have the skill to do so, let me know.

This would be super hard to do. Especially for places like San Diego that are certified botanical gardens besides being a zoo.

Some zoos maintain botanical collection records but not all do. If you are offering to create your own master lists for any zoo I can assure you that it will be far more challenging than creating a list of animals in the collection. When I was working at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden decades ago our list of botanical species (and cultivars) exceeded 3,500
