Does Bronx still exhibit American alligators?
Also, Queens has American alligator.
Smithsonian no longer has gharial.

I'm headed there this summer, any idea what replaced them?Smithsonian no longer has gharial.
Thanks, that is great, I would love to see tomistoma, as much as I love gharial. That exhibit had a tomistoma and painted terrapin when I was there last month. The exhibit out back which had tomistoma prior to that had Philippine croc.
Its pretty much a guarantee that any zoological institution in Florida will have American Alligators.
I guess when Disney has hundreds in the lakes on their grounds, its kind of too much to also put them on exhibit. Not Disney's Animal Kingdom.
I call those tomistoma![]()
