Updates from my visit today:

  • 3 White-tailed Deer were born.
  • 3 Sika Deer were born.
  • 2 Barbary Sheep were born.
  • An American Bison was born.
  • 5 Virginia Opossums were born.
  • The zoo is the process of building a Tiger enclsoure, which the zoo claims will be "the largest in the Midwest". In the mean time, the Tigers are visible in a small cage behind the enclosure.
  • Several Domestic Mallards were born.

On March 5th, the zoo announced they have acquired (1.1) capybara.

On March 13th, the zoo announced that they have released (1.1) trumpeter swans, as well as (1.1) whooping swans into the zoo's pond.

On March 27th, the zoo announced that (0.2) generic tigers were born on March 26th, however, were stillborn and did not survive.

On April 4th, the zoo announced that a litter (5-12) of Flemish giant rabbits were born.

On April 7th, the zoo announced that they have acquired (1.2) swamp water buffalos. They were named Bubba, Bella, and Becca on April 8th.

On April 15th, the zoo announced they have acquired a (1.0) coyote named Mr. Howell for rehabilitation. He was found abandoned at 3-weeks-old in a swamp.

On April 28th, the zoo announced that a (0.1) ring-tailed lemur named Lexie was born on April 25th.

On April 30th, the zoo announced they have acquired (1.1) Eurasian lynxes. They were named Lynus and Lynda.

On May 23rd, the zoo announced they have acquired a (1.0) blue-and-gold macaw named Ike from a private owner.

On May 27th, the zoo announced they have acquired (0.2) generic tiger cubs from an unspecified Wisconsin zoo. They are named Sugar and Spice.

2021 News (Part 2):

On July 3rd, the zoo announced that a (1.0) white-tailed deer named JD passed away from a tooth infection that spread to his bones. He was 10 years old.

On July 4th, the zoo announced they have acquired a (1.0) African spurred tortoise named Simon.

On September 11th, the zoo announced that a new kangaroo barn, named "Kangaroo Palace" has been built. Also, the zoo announced that the Dall sheep have moved into the former kangaroo exhibit, while the kangaroos moved into the exhibit next to the sheep.

On October 15th, the zoo announced that they have built a new temporary exhibit for their (0.2) generic tigers named Sugar and Spice next to the main generic tiger exhibit.

On November 9th, the zoo announced they have built a new winter holding area for their capybaras.

*Note: there have been births by some animals that I did not mention, including Nigerian dwarf goats, white-tailed deer, Sika deer, as there were not mentioned by the zoo, and did not want to give conflicting reports with @birdsandbats
 
2022 News:

On January 18th, the zoo announced that a new Arctic fox exhibit is going to be built and will be completed by spring 2022.

On January 23rd, the zoo announced that through the 24th-February 12th, the zoo was closed in order to work on maintenance, expanding the acreage of the elk exhibit, and upgrading fencing, among other additions and changes.

On March 14th, the zoo announced they have begun working on the new arctic fox exhibit, which was completed by March 17th.

On March 19th, the zoo announced they have been revamping their septic system, as well as renovating their golf cart parking spaces.

On March 29th, the zoo announced that their (1.0) cougar named Barabbas has passed away. He was 21 years old.

On August 2nd, the zoo announced that (2.2) Nigerian dwarf goats were born.

Also on August 2nd, the zoo announced they have emptied the duck pond of the ~20 remaining koi, which have been placed in the tiger exhibits, along with 100 more koi.

Also, it seems like they have acquired plains zebra and ostriches and put them near the tigers, though they haven't made any formal announcement about that.
