Yes there are Wallabies in Animal Adventure but they live in Family Farmyard and by the way they are Bennett's Wallabies

There are potoroos and bettongs in the koala exhibit next to Animal Adventure, maybe that’s what you are remembering.
Wallaby wood was shut a few years ago with the Bennett's Wallabies moving to Family farmyard, an area on foot. There were two parma wallabies around 13years or so ago in an area called Pet's Corner. Pet's corner was closed and the parma's were initially advertised as being apart of Animal Adventure however it never happened, I'm not sure what happened to them.

I visited longleat yesterday for the first time in over a decade. I have a few questions though.
I only saw one white rhino and it was in an enclosure on the safari. It looked like quite a small area for such a large animal given how much space that longleat have.
How many rhinos do they have and do they ever have access to the main reserve or are they always in the small enclosure?
Most of the giraffes were in the main reserve but there was just one, as far as I could tell, being kept separate in the outdoor area next to the house. I was wondering what the current setup is with the giraffes.
Are they a breeding group or are they all females? There was signage stating that they had bred 120 giraffes so I was curious if they're still breeding. I don't think I could see an adult male but I might be wrong.
In the first lion enclosure there was a group of females in an enclosed area to the left of the road. I could count around 6 if I recall correctly. There were 2 males, from what I could see, in the actual drive through area. In the second drive through area there was a group with around 6 females and 1 male. I was wondering if there's a reason why the females were kept separate in the first drive through area.
I saw 3 cheetah in an enclosure to the left of the drive through area. Are they normally out in the drive through?
Overall I quite enjoyed my visit. I seemed to be quite unlucky on the drive through with nearly all of the large carnivores asleep with the exception of the wolves which were a no-show, but I did see an ostrich sitting on a clutch of eggs which was quite interesting. I don't normally go to safaris, with the last time I went to one being West Midlands a while before their overnight accommodation crusade. The drive through at Longleat seemed to be more sparsely populated but the species were more diverse and overall more enjoyable, especially with the macaqes. One thing that did disappoint me was the walk-through areas. Lots of the enclosures seemed either too small or designed with visitor experience being the priority giving the animals, many of which are very shy species, very little privacy. I did enjoy the koalas with them being the main reason for my visit. The new joey was off-show indoors but I did see 3 adults inside the main building and they all seemed fairly comfortable. The jungle cruise was brilliant and definitely a highlight. While I won't be rushing back any time soon, I did really enjoy it and definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before.

The former breeding bull Thorn is now 21 years old so will probably be in breeding retirement. Unsure how many females are still there, as a bacterial virus badly affected the herd I believe. Ella, Eliza, Gertrude, Kate, Piper and Thea are the only females I know were there recently. Percy, Reggie and Sheldon were the remaining young bulls that I'm aware of.

Now this is where it could get interesting. As previously posted in another thread (2020) during a Q&A on Facebook in 2020 it was confirmed that they had 26 lions split into different prides.

It's quite possible that I misidentified castrated males for females because I'm not very knowledgeable regarding African lions.

Haha I completely understand and even more so here because there is so many. It's very hard to get information about individual animals from here especially if they're giraffes or lions. I'm trying to discover which lion has died but I may have wait to see if its covered by Animal Park in the summer.

Jumba now lives in simba and klaus's pride after he got an injury which resulted in a bit of his tail being cut off which was shown on animal park last summer
Lemur Walkthrough is back open now and Somali Sheep is now in with the lemurs
A low budget, cheaper alternative to building elaborate indoor housing I imagine. It may not be fancy but, if it does the job and it’s out of public view, why waste money?

When did Rufina pass away/move on? I was the first member of the Public to see Rufina. I remember her arriving and seeing her Spanish keepers. Do you know where Emma used to live. Now that Longleat have a couple pairs is the plan to keep and breed both. On a different subject how many Sea Lions does Longleat have?

Ruffina passed away at the end of 2019 because she was in animal park Christmas special 2019 she was seen sleeping outside during the fireworks segment so she most likely passed after that was filmed
Ah yes I heard that sad news on Animal Park 2 years ago 2020
so are they trying to make there staff look stupid never kidded a goat yet i have seen the keeper on other programs doing just that and if not should not be looking after animals without the basics and that vet should be stuck off hes not a fecking clue
