Alright, here's my first time doing this. I apologize if it's the wrong formatting, but here's all the species that were on exhibit / accessible. More information follows below the list about my experience here and just generally setting the scene. Also, I apologize for no scientific names. I know that's bread and butter around here but I don't have the time haha!
Alright, so, let me set up the scene. My family lives about an hour away, directly south of Punta Gorda, I was able to make my way up here but it was a bit of an investment. I would have loved to have stopped at Shell Factory Nature Park along the way but time was not really on my side. Now, I arrive at Iguana Land, and instantly it starts pouring. Even thundering, the kind cashier at the door warned me to come inside when it started to thunder, and I took that advice. Now, because of this, I was walking from the outside back to inside, rinsing, and repeating and trying to manage staying dry and avoid the thunder. This may result in a few species not being listed, and I didn't list any that I couldn't identify for the most part (aside from the 4 unidentified large iguana species). However, all the enclosures were exceptionally clean, and well managed. There's a ton of new construction for a variety of new species, namely their new expansion for their Rock Iguanas, which has a lot of faux rock already built up for them. Tons of room for all of their animals, all wonderful. Only problem was the weather.
However, in spite of my sacrifice of all of this amongst Mother Nature's wrath, a kind staff member took note of my plight and offered for me to enter one of the enclosures to meet their Rhinoceros Iguanas, Princess and Donkey Kong. It was an incredible experience, and the staff here are exceptionally kind. If you're ever in the area, please find your way out to here and lend this area your business. It's an incredible park with some exceptional species that is worth a drive out here for.
